Improving on the design of the classic transatlantic steamer chair, the Commodore won a design award when we first manufactured it, and it has been extensively copied since. The Commodore offers high levels of comfort and the best materials available, including special fittings cast exclusively for us in solid brass.

From the golden days of the great transatlantic liners, comes the inspiration for our superbly designed Commodore Steamer Chair. It uses marine quality solid brass fittings plus ergonomically shaped components to give a high level of comfort. The back rest can be reclined to one of four positions to suit your mood. Supplied fully assembled, cushion available. We received a design award for this chair when we introduced it in 1984 since when it has been copied extensively.
